Staff Accountant

• Handle various phases of financial accounting and tax engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare compilations, reviews, and financial statements with precision
• Manage corporate, partnership, and personal tax assignments efficiently
• Collaborate directly with clients to provide tailored accounting and tax services
• Generate monthly and annual financial statements and reports
• Post entries and adjustments to the general ledger accurately
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain data integrity
• Assist in corporate and individual tax preparation processes
• Engage with staff at all levels to foster development
• Work with clients from diverse industries such as healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and hospitality.

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting or tax, preferably within public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a Master’s degree in accounting or taxation
• Proficiency with Accounting CS and UltraTax software is essential
• Familiarity with TaxDome practice management software and QuickBooks is required
• Strong skills in financial report writing and balance sheet analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not mandatory.
