Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to assist our local client's frequent needs. Job Responsibility:

Record financial transactions and prepare journal entries
Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements
Analyze financial data and variances to support decision-making
Prepare and file tax documents, such as sales tax and/or payroll tax
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years in accounting-related duties or a similar role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Excel
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively across teams
