Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Staff Accountant. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Finance team, the Staff Accountant works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain harmonious and professional relationships with all departments and Home Office
  • Supervise, train, and develop staff to thoroughly understand all of their duties and responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and various bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and statistical reports
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested
  • Maintain strict adherence to established internal controls and assist with internal and external audits
  • Assist Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of month-end close process including preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, and bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management degree or equivalent training
  • Three to five years of experience in a related position
  • Must possess legal work authorization in United States
