Job Description:

Our organization is working alongside local clients in the Woodland Hills, CA to fill ongoing Staff Accountant positions. We are looking for experienced Staff Accountants with a background in the CPA Firms to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, a thorough understanding of auditing principles, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients. Reporting to the Senior Accountant or Manager, the Staff Accountant will play a vital role in providing accounting, auditing, and tax services to our clients while adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the annual budgeting process and assist in the development of financial forecasts to guide business decisions
Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Providing support during internal and external audits, including preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and addressing auditor inquiries

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing and taxation, preferably in a CPA firm environment
Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in financial statement preparation, auditing procedures, and tax compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with team members
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Commitment to upholding professional standards, ethics, and integrity in all engagements

Nice to have:

CPA certification preferred
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and audit tools (e.g., Caseware, IDEA) preferred
