Ideal experience includes journal entry preparation, month-end and year-end close, bank reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and general ledger reconciliations. You will also play an active role in internal reporting and be responsible for producing financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budgets. Job Responsibility:
Prepare complex journal entries and reconcile accounts including cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis for management reporting
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including financial close workbooks
Assist with implementation and compliance of internal controls in accordance with SOX and GAAP
Maintain capital lease schedules and fixed asset ledgers, including depreciation and reconciliation
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations with minimal supervision
Manage recurring journal entries and intercompany transactions
Analyze and present financial data in a clear, meaningful manner
Participate in department-wide initiatives and complete ad hoc reporting and special projects
Requirements:
Diverse accounting background with a strong desire to learn
Experience working with large ERP/accounting systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
3+ years of accounting experience
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and business needs
Strong accounting background with a proven ability to adapt to new challenges
Proficiency in working with large accounting systems and platforms
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
Minimum of 3 years of experience in detail-oriented accounting roles
Demonstrated expertise in journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
Ability to operate independently and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines
Excellent analytical and communication skills to present financial information effectively
