Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to accurate financial reporting and efficient month-end close processes.

Job Responsibility:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
Record and review journal entries in compliance with accounting standards
Maintain and update the general ledger
ensuring all transactions are properly documented
Assist with month-end close activities
including preparing financial reports and resolving discrepancies
Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite
Oracle
QuickBooks
or SAP to manage financial data
Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices

Requirements:

Proven experience in accounts payable
accounts receivable
and general ledger accounting
Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite
Oracle
QuickBooks
or SAP
Strong understanding of journal entries and month-end close processes
Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Finance
or a related field is preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
