Staff Accountant

• Prepare and record month-end journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts with precision and timeliness
• Analyze and compile materials for external audits and financial reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and document procedures to support continuous improvement efforts
• Investigate discrepancies in accounts and variances, providing clear explanations and recommendations
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial results and adherence to corporate deadlines
• Create and deliver various reporting packages as assigned by management
• Perform daily and weekly accounting tasks in alignment with organizational guidelines
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and contribute to quality assurance in financial operations
• Collaborate with team members and management to address key accounting issues effectively

• Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a commitment to accuracy
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, paired with exceptional customer service abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and financial information
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with financial reporting systems and budgeting processes is highly desirable
