Job Description:

The role involves a broad range of functions including payroll processing, benefit administration, basic accounting tasks, and clerical duties in support of the Business Office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle the processing of payroll in an accurate and timely manner
  • Administer employee benefits, including open enrollment elections and changes throughout the year
  • Maintain and create new permanent files, ensuring efficient record retention and filing
  • Perform accounting tasks related to payroll, including reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as ACA, HIPAA, FLSA
  • Assist in risk management and audit preparation
  • Support in the creation and tracking of the operating budget
  • Disseminate HR-related information to all employees
  • Keep track of employee training and clearances
  • Meet all disclosure and reporting requirements
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Financial & Operating Officer

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Staff Accountant/Payroll role
  • Proficient in using QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Basic and Full Charge Bookkeeping
  • Understanding of Benefits a plus
  • Experience with Payroll - Garnishments and Payroll - Multi-State
