Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7–10 years of expertise in U.S. Accounting & Finance. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage, with demonstrated experience in managing compliance, corporate taxation, day-to-day financial operations, and multi-branch accounting. The role requires excellent communication, analytical abilities, and the capability to lead month-end closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and reconciliations
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements) in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Perform branch-wise accounting and consolidate reports across business units
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and provisions
  • Ensure full compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Manage corporate income tax filings, indirect taxes (sales & U.S. tax), payroll tax compliance, and support audits
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure proper compliance and reporting
  • Maintain documentation to support tax positions and assist in responding to regulatory queries
  • Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and provide insights to management for decision-making
  • Support strategic planning by preparing forecasts, cash flow projections, and branch-level performance reports
  • Analyze financial data and present meaningful reports to management for cost optimization and revenue growth
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage for accounting, reporting, and financial consolidation
  • Drive process automation, workflow improvements, and standardization across branches
  • Ensure proper internal controls are implemented and adhered to for safeguarding company assets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including operations, HR, and compliance teams
  • Coordinate with U.S. counterparts and ensure smooth integration of global reporting
  • Provide guidance to junior accountants and assist in training the team on compliance and reporting standards

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory
  • 4 + years of experience in U.S. Accounting, Finance, and Taxation
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, corporate tax, sales & U.S. tax, and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multi-branch accounting and consolidation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally

Nice to have:

  • Experience in U.S. audit processes
  • Exposure to multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
