Job Description:

Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage and oversee comprehensive accounting functions for our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities, as well as some human resources responsibilities. The ideal candidate will excel in organizing and executing tasks independently while maintaining efficiency and precision.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle full charge bookkeeping duties, including tracking and managing all financial records
  • Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting data
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain consistency and accuracy in financial records
  • Process full-cycle payroll, ensuring employees are compensated correctly and on time
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to aid in strategic decision-making
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to address financial queries or concerns
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly
  • Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and filings as required
  • Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and administration
  • General human resources support

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full cycle accounting/bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks most ideal
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and payroll management
  • Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and analysis
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
