Job Description

Real estate investment company is seeking an AP Accountant to join their growing department. This is a stable company that offers great benefits (fully paid medical benefits, pension plan, wellness reimbursement, etc.) and good work/life balance.

Job Responsibility

  • Full cycle AP processing through check runs
  • Reconcile monthly corporate credit cards statements and make payments
  • Process employee reimbursements using Concur
  • Monitor cash balances in various clients' bank accounts
  • Manage clients' investments property taxes and pay installments
  • Deposit checks for corporate and clients' accounts
  • Prepare 1099s at year-end and obtain W-9s as needed
  • Assist with general ledger, month-end close

Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of full cycle AP experience, exposure to GL a plus
  • Real estate industry experience
  • Experience with Yardi and PayScan is preferred
  • Experience using Concur for expense reimbursement processing is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organization and follow-through
