Job Description:

Our client within professional services is seeking a Staff Accountant / Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, and general financial reporting. The position also involves maintaining accurate records, assisting with client billing arrangements, and supporting process improvements across the finance function. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounting, AP, or billing, along with a strong attention to detail and solid Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems (such as Workday or Aderant) and a background in financial and/or legal services environments are a plus. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced team. Compensation is competitive up to 100k on the base, and 5 days onsite in Manhattan.
