Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 public accountant or financial services professional with experience auditing private equity, venture capital, or hedge fund clients who has a strong interest in transitioning into the hedge fund industry. The firm offers a collaborative environment, early market hours for those who prefer to start their day earlier, and a flexible hybrid schedule.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare performance summaries and risk metric reports for distribution to clients and investors
  • Review client NAVs on a monthly or quarterly basis, including investor allocations, waterfall calculations, and capital statements
  • Research corporate actions and reconcile against prime broker records
  • Assist with client valuation and expense policies
  • Coordinate and prepare payments to vendors across client funds and management companies
  • Utilize Bloomberg Terminal to revalue client holdings
  • Support internal projects and administrative initiatives across the team
  • Assist with year-end audit and tax deliverables

Requirements

  • 1–6 years of accounting experience within financial services
  • Experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or working with private equity, venture capital, or hedge fund clients (audit, fund administration, or tax)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in building a long-term career in the hedge fund industry
