Job Description:

The Stack Emissions Team Leader (MCERTS Level 2) will have full responsibility for undertaking and managing all aspects of an emissions testing campaign including the supervision and well-being of themselves and others. As a representative of Cura Terrae the Team Leader will visit industrial sites in the UK and abroad to perform testing in accordance with international standards and the Cura Terrae Quality Management System. All team leaders will have achieved MCERTs Personnel Competency Certificate Level 2.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake and manage all aspects of an emissions testing campaign
  • Supervise and ensure well-being of themselves and others
  • Perform testing on industrial sites in the UK and abroad in accordance with international standards and QMS
  • Act as an ambassador for the business on customer sites
  • Champion and promote safe behaviour at all times
  • Identify and report at least 1 proactive hazard ID per month
  • Maintain all MCERTS qualifications
  • Ensure no non-conforming work recorded
  • Ensure job file checks are > 95% compliant
  • Ensure no detractors recorded for relevant projects
  • Ensure all assigned equipment is maintained, serviced, calibrated and PAT tested
  • Interaction and communication with clients
  • Undertake sampling in accordance with prescribed procedures
  • Travel to customers sites
  • Attend Site Review Meetings
  • Complete site inductions
  • Plan and prepare sampling equipment
  • Clean, prepare, repair and calibrate test equipment
  • Prepare and authorise SSP’s, site reviews, risk assessments & test reports
  • Prepare and ship samples to the laboratory

Requirements:

  • MCERTS Level 2 Personnel Competency Certificate
