Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SSIS Data Transformation Specialist to join our team on a short-term contractual basis. The successful candidate will provide application support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for a solution that is heavily dependent on complex SSIS packages for data transformation and integration. There will also be the opportunity to work with D365 CRM and the wider Power Platform. This role involves working closely with a member of our team to provide guidance, and your expertise, to assist them in maintaining and making changes to these packages.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and iterate on existing complex SSIS packages to meet changing customer requirements
  • Investigate issues with on-premise SQL databases
  • Manage and coordinate system upgrades and patch deployments, ensuring operational continuity and minimal disruption
  • Solution lifecycle management (DevOps, ALM)
  • Work as an escalation point primarily for a sub-set of our customers but also across the wider team
  • Champion best practise across the team
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications or Change Requests
  • Manage and prioritise your time effectively

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with SSIS Packages and Agent Jobs
  • Strong experience with SSIS Advanced Custom Logic data transformation using C# scripts
  • Strong experience working with the Integrated Services Catalogue
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Experience integrating Dynamics CRM with 3rd party APIs and custom integrations
  • Experience working with DevOps and ALM processes
  • Knowledge of SQL data migration and reporting tools
