Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our global Citi Markets Technology organization. In this role, you will collaborate with development teams to implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization strategies. You will also focus on applying SRE principles to improve system reliability, enhance observability, and reduce operational toil through automation.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with development teams to implement and improve DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern tools and practices
Implement comprehensive observability solutions using Grafana, Grafana Mimir, and Prometheus
Create and manage alerting systems using Alert Manager to ensure proactive incident response
Identify manual processes and implement automation to reduce operational toil
Collaborate with global teams to establish best practices for system reliability and performance
Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments

Requirements:

4+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles
3+ years experience with AWS cloud services and EKS
3+ years experience and strong Python programming skills for automation and tooling
3+ years experience in container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
3+ years experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Harness
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus)
Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices
Strong problem-solving skills and system troubleshooting abilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment

Nice to have:

Experience with Go programming language
Java development experience
Infrastructure as code experience using Ansible and Terraform
Experience in financial services technology environments
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
