Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps / SRE Consultant who can design, build, and demonstrate proof-of-concept (POC) solutions while also acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders. This role blends hands-on engineering, solution architecture, and consultative engagement, with a focus on cloud-native platforms, reliability, automation, and scalable DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable translating business problems into technical solutions, leading POCs end-to-end, and guiding teams toward production-ready, secure, and reliable systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and deliver end-to-end POCs for DevOps, SRE, cloud, and platform engineering use cases

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Design and operate Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift)
  • Implement SRE practices: SLIs, SLOs, SLAs
  • Error budgets
  • Incident management and postmortems
  • Automate deployments, scaling, backups, and disaster recovery
  • Implement observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, New Relic, etc.)
  • Improve system reliability, availability, and performance
  • Embed security into CI/CD and infrastructure (DevSecOps)
  • Ensure compliance with security and operational best practices
  • Mentor junior DevOps and SRE engineers
  • Influence engineering and product teams through technical leadership
  • Contribute to standards, best practices, and reusable patterns
  • Work closely with architects, developers, security, and business stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
  • Deep knowledge of: Linux and networking fundamentals
  • Containers and Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
  • Proven experience delivering POCs, pilots, or technical demos
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and design thinking skills
  • Experience working in customer-facing or consulting roles is a strong plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience with platform engineering tools (Backstage, ArgoCD, Crossplane)
  • Experience designing multi-region or highly available systems
  • Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
