Sr. Tech Lead - Open Source Technologies

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and knowledge of other areas to develop and deliver solutions
• Help set the overall technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Lead and inspire a global technology organization, fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence
• Champion technology exploration, generate and sell ideas to executive leadership
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
• Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to development and ongoing maintenance
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products and services within budget and resource constraints
• Implement and manage effective product development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe)
• Drive the adoption of modern technologies and best practices (e.g., DevSecOps, Cloud)
• Mentor high-performing engineering teams
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and trends to drive innovation and growth
• Lead the development and implementation of new products and features
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and practices
• Effectively communicate technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences

• 17+ years of experience in technology leadership roles
• Experience leading and working with global technology teams
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and best practices
• Solid hands-on experience working on Open source technologies including Java/Springboot, Kafka, Openshift/Docker/Kubernates
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience building and scaling SaaS platforms
• Experience in a large financial conglomerate
• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
