Job Description:

Sr. Tableau Lead Developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

Job Responsibility:

Designing, developing, architecting, and administrating Tableau solutions for enterprise customers
Handling End-to-End Life cycle of Data Visualization including Proof of concept, Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Preparation, and creating dashboards
Responding to business/technical queries from team members and onsite partners
Coaching, guiding, and mentoring junior team members
Working cross-functionally with leadership, program managers, and stakeholders to achieve business priorities
Translating data into dashboards and executive-level report deliverables

Requirements:

8-12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization and Tableau-specific delivery projects
Experience designing, developing, architecting, and administrating Tableau solutions for enterprise customers
Experience in End-to-End Life cycle of Data Visualization from Proof of concept, Understanding Product Requirements, Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Preparation, Creating Interactive/Dynamic Dashboards, Unit Testing, Deployments
Experience with Tableau Prep and Data Modeling based on Tableau best practices
Proficiency with different charts, tables, filters, parameters, table calculations, LODs, blending
Deep Dashboard design and development experience is a must
Design thinking proficiency a must
Translate data into easily-digestible and highly-visual dashboard applications and executive-level report deliverables
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in SQL a must
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and software development lifecycle principles a plus
Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives, handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities and meet deadlines
Respond to business/technical queries from team members and onsite partners
Coach, guide and mentor junior team members
Work cross-functionally with leadership, program managers, and other stakeholders to understand and achieve business priorities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working experience in a similar data management domain is an added advantage
