Dialpad is looking for a Sr. Motion Designer to bring our brand to life through dynamic motion and animation across our marketing and product experiences. In this role, you’ll craft compelling animations that elevate storytelling and enhance engagement across multiple touchpoints, including campaigns, email, web, display, and product. You’ll collaborate closely with our Brand Design team, writers, and producers to deliver high-quality motion work that drives business impact. As a Sr. Motion Designer, you'll leverage a deep understanding of motion principles, storytelling, and design while utilizing tools like After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Figma to execute animations that resonate with our audience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with designers to develop motion concepts and visual storytelling that align with marketing and product narratives
  • Work closely with designers to develop storyboards and animation prototypes to test and refine ideas
  • Translate complex business use cases and product value propositions into visually compelling animations
  • Create and refine 2D animations in a variety of styles and techniques
  • Edit live-action videos for use on social and web
  • Maintain brand consistency while exploring ways to evolve motion design within our brand system
  • Present and pitch creative ideas to stakeholders across teams

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in motion design, animation, editing, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing motion work across digital platforms
  • Expertise in After Effects, Illustrator, and Figma (Cinema 4D or other 3D tools a plus)
  • A strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Experience creating UI animations that enhance user experiences
  • Ability to synthesize business objectives into visually engaging motion content
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively
