Job Description:

As the Sr. Manager, Financial Forecast Model Owner, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for supporting the design and implementation of Financial logic that underlies the Profit & Loss statement within the new Underwriting model. This role involves leading discovery and solutioning exercises for new features, ensuring proper implementation, supporting UAT, and assisting with live client support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Presiding over the Computational Engine
  • Supporting the design and implementation of Financial logic
  • Leading discovery and solutioning exercises for new features
  • Ensuring proper implementation of initiatives by the technical teams
  • Supporting UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
  • Outlining testing parameters and providing final review and sign-off of features
  • Assisting with live client support ensuring integrity of the financial results
  • Supporting adhoc financial analyses to support various initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of analytical, actuarial or underwriting experience
  • 1+ years of PBM experience
  • 4+ years pricing, actuarial or financial forecasting experience
  • PBM and/or Healthcare experience
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Experience working with IT and Scrum methodology
  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work across business units within a complex organization
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to convey complex topics in clear and concise terms
  • Experience prioritizing work and communicating in a manner that is clear, logical, consistent, and effective
  • Innovative mindset and ability to work outside of established boundaries
  • Results oriented with ability to keep others on task to meet defined goals
  • Experience developing complex financial solutions and working with technical audience to ensure proper implementation
  • Degree or work history related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or other data related fields
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with continually evolving priorities

Nice to have:

FSA (Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries) or ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries)
