Job Description:

The role involves managing applications development teams, ensuring scalable and secure API solutions, and delivering results through team performance and technical expertise. Additional qualifications include technical skills in Java, Microservices, Springboot, MongoDB, and Kafka.

Job Responsibility:

Manage one or more Applications Development teams
conduct personnel duties such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions
utilize in-depth knowledge to provide technical oversight across systems and applications
review and analyze proposed technical solutions
develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data
monitor delivery of end results
participate in budget management
handle resource management and allocation of work
ensure essential procedures are followed
assess and mitigate risks while driving compliance with laws and regulations
design, develop, and implement high-performing, scalable, and reusable APIs
optimize APIs for throughput, efficiency, and scalability
provide technical support for API commercialization, rollout, and maintenance
implement API security measures

Requirements:

12-15 years of experience preferred
3 to 5 years of working experience in development and delivery of RESTful APIs
working experience on development of financial APIs for large institutions
automation skills with experience in development of automation tools
technical skills including Java, Microservices, Springboot applications, MongoDB, and Kafka
