Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in the Nashua, New Hampshire area. This position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making. As a long-term contract position, you will be instrumental in driving insights that shape business strategies and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze complex financial data to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports, including variance and trend analysis, to support decision-making processes
develop and maintain financial models to forecast future performance and support strategic planning
track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with organizational goals
partner with cost center managers to create accurate budgets and adjust spending priorities as necessary
assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, including weekly updates, annual planning, and long-term projections
assess financial impacts of proposed expenses and projects, ensuring alignment with overall budgetary goals
perform ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business questions and support executive decision-making
support data validation and integration efforts related to financial system enhancements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
advanced degree or certification is a plus
strong expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and variance analysis
proficiency in creating and interpreting detailed financial reports and forecasts
experience with ad hoc financial analysis and data mining techniques
advanced knowledge of JD Edwards
ability to evaluate and monitor KPIs effectively
strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
