We are looking for a Sr. Content Marketing Manager to help shape the voice of 1Password and drive brand/category-building objectives by showcasing our leadership in cybersecurity. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to create persuasive and engaging content for various audiences, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency across all assets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop high-quality, long-form editorial content that engages security and IT leaders
  • Craft insightful, forward-thinking content that positions 1Password as a trusted voice in cybersecurity
  • Deliver a diverse range of content, including core web pages, campaign landing pages, and sales materials
  • Act as a key editor for the Content team, upholding quality standards and ensuring messaging consistency
  • Develop a deep understanding of our buyers' challenges and how 1Password solutions drive key business outcomes
  • Strategize, develop, and implement content that powers campaigns and product launches
  • Shape and execute content marketing strategies that support growth initiatives
  • Partner with teams across the organization to craft compelling stories about campaigns and product innovations
  • Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends and inform content strategies with timely insights
  • Write and edit across content types, ensuring brand voice is consistent and engaging
  • Leverage AI tools to optimize editorial workflows and research capabilities
  • Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sr. Content Marketing Manager, Sr. Writer, or a similar senior role for a cybersecurity company
  • At least six years of experience writing content, with experience working for companies targeting cybersecurity
  • A deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry, trends, and technologies, and the ability to construct persuasive storytelling for security and IT audiences
  • Experience sourcing and working with external agencies, vendors, individual freelancers, and budgets
  • High journalistic standards, communicators, and presenters of content ideas
  • Exceptional storytelling skills, with the ability to craft and guide narratives that resonate with technical audiences, building trust and engagement at every stage of the buyer's journey
  • Demonstrated critical and creative thinking skills with a collaborative approach to supporting a cross-functional team through complex content marketing challenges
  • Proficiency in buyer journeys for B2B cybersecurity executives and practitioners
  • Eager to push the boundaries of traditional content marketing with a passion for innovation, exploring new formats, platforms, and approaches to deliver exceptional audience experiences.
