Job Description:

The Sr. Category Manager - Network Data Center Real Estate is responsible for overseeing and optimizing T-Mobile’s data center real estate portfolio. This role involves developing portfolio strategies, managing vendors, making data-driven decisions, and driving performance targets. The position requires strong expertise in real estate, procurement, and sourcing strategies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the evolution of T-Mobile’s Data center Real Estate portfolio strategy
  • Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers for Data center real estate transactions
  • Develop data models and reporting for key real estate decisions
  • Drive quarterly and long-term performance targets for the category
  • Create and deliver executive briefs on portfolio performance
  • Perform supplier relationship management, including audits, KPIs, and improvement plans
  • Manage RFx projects for assigned categories
  • Develop and negotiate agreements
  • Resolve supplier-related issues
  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned categories.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Procurement, or Real Estate
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years in a global procurement organization, management consulting, or real estate
  • 3+ years of experience with real estate development, evaluation, acquisition, construction, and site selection
  • Proficiency in category strategies, RFP/RFI development, contract negotiations, and strategic sourcing
  • Experience with data center build-to-suit development, real estate evaluation, and acquisition
  • Strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter and independent worker
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years of age.

  • Familiarity with constructing presentations and business cases
  • Ability to challenge senior leadership respectfully
  • Experience with utility agreements or telecommunications infrastructure.
