Job Description:

Techno Functional Analyst - Demand management cloud, VCP is a subject matter expert in Oracle Demand Management Cloud (DMC), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and Oracle SCM specifically on Oracle E-Business Suite of applications with strong techno functional skills in DMC, Oracle EBS R12 SCM and VCP modules. The incumbent is responsible to provide technical and functional support on Oracle Demand Management Cloud, OIC, ASCP, Oracle R12 Supply Chain and related interfaces. Supports the implementation of solutions through a formal process including requirements gathering and definition, gap analysis, design, development, configuration, project planning, testing and deployment. Also responsible to develop, coordinate, and implement test plans with the super users for functional changes, bug fixes, enhancements, patches and upgrades related to Oracle EBS SCM Modules, VCP, ASCP and Oracle Demand Management Cloud.

Job Responsibility:

  • Production support (Technical and Functional) of Demand Management Cloud, Oracle R12 Supply Chain, Order Management modules and 3rd party interfaces with Oracle SCM modules
  • Conduct gap-analysis and work with business power users and IT solution architects to enhance DMC, VCP, ASCP , Order Management(OM) modules
  • Responsible for Process design, system configuration, testing, specification development and end user training for DMC, Oracle eBS R12 SCM Applications, VCP, ASCP, Oracle Demand Cloud
  • Provides technical support to root cause and resolve supply chain management issues. Submits and follow up on service requests to Oracle
  • Monitors the request sets to manage the monthly S&OP cadence. Takes corrective actions when request sets fail. Measures the performance of request set steps and recommends actions to improve them
  • Supports the development activities for improvement initiatives. Provides programming of custom code and migrates the solutions to production. Participates in validation activities
  • Maintains the technical documentation related to supply chain management systems. Examples include BR100, monthly cadence document and technical design documents for custom objects
  • Provide analysis, problem resolution and improvement plans for Supply Chain, Demand Planning systems
  • Support the implementation of solutions through a formal process including requirements gathering and definition, gap analysis, design, development, configuration, project planning, testing and deployment
  • Provides techno-functional expertise in supply chain management, order management and execution applications
  • Manages the production migration of fixes and enhancements
  • Manages the techno-functional documentation related to supply chain management systems. Ensures that the documentation is up to date
  • Develop and sustain relationships with external business partners in supporting SCM stack of applications
  • Develop and coach an effective user and super-user community

Requirements:

  • Strong techno-functional knowledge in Oracle EBS modules like Manufacturing, SCM, Value Chain Planning, ATP, Allocated ATP, Purchasing, Inventory, Cost Management, WIP, BOM, and ASCP
  • Experience in providing techno-functional support in Oracle Demand Management cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud
  • Strong technical skills in Oracle integration cloud
  • Exposure and experience in maintaining Customer Forecast, measure configuration, exception management, segmentation management, statistical tuning and doing hierarchy changes in Oracle Demand Management cloud
  • Strong experience in supply chain management processes such as supply chain planning, demand planning and inventory management
  • Ability to interact with cross functions from planning, commercial and IT
  • Knowledgeable in supply chain methodologies, related KPIs and reporting
  • Adept knowledge of the underlying Oracle schema, integration points, data conversion and technology processes
  • Development experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Triggers, Procedures, API, Interfaces, RICE Components
  • OIC and Rest Integrations experience will be an advantage
  • Experience with Oracle Implementation Methodology, Business Process Engineering and similar ERP implementation methodologies
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain process including Oracle R12 - Inventory, BOM, WIP, Order Management etc as these are the basis for ASCP
  • Must have written functional and technical specifications for interfaces to Planning modules
  • Must understand the data flow and table structures in Planning Modules
  • Must have at least 5 years of industry experience in Oracle/ Planning implementations
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills and ability to communicate with Business leaders, technical team and external vendors
  • Must be self-organized, and be able to define tasks, establish priorities, and implement according to plan. Must possess the expertise to troubleshoot and analyze issues that arise in the application
  • Superior process documentation and training skills
  • Exposure and knowledge in project management methodologies
  • Experience in managing supply chain management applications. Oracle Value Chain planning experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a matrix management environment with various objectives and priorities

  • Oracle Value Chain planning experience is a plus
  • OIC and Rest Integrations experience will be an advantage
