Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the real estate development industry based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing accounts, ensuring accurate reconciliation, and facilitating month-end and year-end closings.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately manage accounts payable and receivable
Perform bank account and general ledger reconciliations
Prepare and file Hawaii G45/G49 excise tax returns
Handle intercompany transactions and reporting
Maintain comprehensive accounting records
Assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed
Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
Leverage proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
Execute month-end close procedures
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Competence in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Adept at performing Bank Reconciliations
Strong understanding of the General Ledger
Ability to accurately record Journal Entries
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Capable of performing Month End Close tasks
Experience with NetSuite is preferred
Knowledge of Oracle is required
Proficiency in SAP is necessary

Experience with NetSuite
