Job Description:

This role will oversee month-end close activities and payroll, with a growth path to Controller. Applicants will manage financial processes and mentor junior staff.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end close processes, prepare journal entries, and financial statements
Process payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgets and forecasts
Handle accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
Assist with audits and ensure GAAP compliance
Improve financial processes using Sage software
Mentor junior staff and develop skills for the Controller role

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
5-7 years of accounting experience, including senior roles
Strong understanding of GAAP, excellent analytical skills
Detail-oriented, independent worker with strong communication skills
Experience with Sage is a plus

Nice to have:

Experience with Sage
