Job Description:

We are in search of a Part Time Sr. Accountant to add value to a team based in Amherst, New Hampshire. As a Sr. Accountant, your main role will be to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all account-related operations, such as processing reconciliations, maintaining ledgers, and managing month-end closures. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Execute account reconciliations meticulously
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Undertake bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions
Oversee general accounting duties to maintain financial health
Maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate accounting data
Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions
Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze and present financial data
Manage month-end close processes to maintain accurate financial records
Operate Sage Intacct for accounting and financial management purposes

Requirements:

Proficient in Account Reconciliation
In-depth understanding of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations
Solid knowledge of General Ledger management
Capable of preparing accurate Journal Entries
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experienced in Month End Close procedures
Proficiency in using Sage Intacct
