Job Description
The Sr. Workday/UKG Technology Enablement & Training Specialist leads the execution of training, communication, adoption, and change management activities that support enterprise-wide technology initiatives, with a primary focus on Workday, UKG, and related workforce management systems. This role serves as a critical link between Information Services, Human Resources, operational departments, enterprise users, and end users to ensure successful adoption of technology solutions and business process changes across the organization. The Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering engaging training programs, creating comprehensive learning materials, and supporting organizational readiness for new system implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and process improvements. This includes assessing training needs, designing learning strategies, facilitating instructor-led and virtual training sessions, developing eLearning content, and creating user documentation that enables employees to effectively utilize Workday, UKG, and other enterprise applications. The role works closely with HR leaders, IT teams, enterprise users, managers, and staff members across the organization to identify learning needs, improve technology proficiency, and promote consistent adoption of enterprise systems and workflows. Working closely with project teams, application analysts, HR stakeholders, IT leadership, operational leaders, enterprise users, and subject matter experts, this role proactively identifies change impacts, adoption risks, and training requirements throughout the project lifecycle. The Specialist develops targeted communication plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and adoption campaigns to drive awareness, readiness, and sustained utilization of new technologies and workflows. The role also supports organizational change management efforts by helping employees understand the value of technology initiatives and successfully transition to future-state processes while serving as a trusted advisor to HR, IT, operational, finance, and procurement teams on training, user adoption, and technology enablement best practices.
