Sr. Workday/UKG Systems Application Analysts serve as technical leaders responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting highly complex enterprise-wide Workday and UKG solutions that enable Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and operational teams across Baptist Health. This role requires extensive knowledge of Human Capital Management (HCM), Workforce Management (WFM), enterprise systems architecture, integrations, security, and technical infrastructure. Analysts act as a strategic bridge between business operations and Information Systems, translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen system performance, and support organizational initiatives A significant portion of an analyst's day is devoted to leading technical projects, troubleshooting complex application and system issues, supporting enterprise integrations, and maintaining highly available business-critical systems. Responsibilities include resolving multifaceted issues involving application configuration, integrations, interfaces, databases, security, middleware, and system performance while supporting Workday and UKG releases, enhancements, and optimization efforts. Analysts collaborate with vendors, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, database administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure enterprise applications remain secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational objectives. Much of this work is coordinated through Microsoft Teams, email, project meetings, technical design sessions, and cross-functional governance activities. Sr. Workday/UKG Systems Application Analysts also spend time leading enterprise initiatives alongside Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and vendor partners. Their week may include project planning sessions, architecture reviews, implementation meetings, production support, change management activities, and executive stakeholder discussions. Throughout the day, they mentor junior analysts, provide technical leadership across multiple projects, establish best practices, perform quality assurance and integrated testing, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives that support the organization's enterprise technology strategy.
