Job Description:

We’re seeking a Sr. UX Manager to lead, coach, and grow a team of talented UX designers focused on delivering high-impact experiences across ResMed’s digital ecosystem. You will guide the team through all phases of the Triple Diamond design process — from discovery to delivery — ensuring design quality, consistency, and alignment with business and user goals. As a design leader, you’ll create an environment that fosters experimentation, learning, and AI-enhanced design exploration. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional leaders to translate research, data, and strategy into experiences that drive adoption, engagement, and measurable outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Champion the use of the Triple Diamond methodology and user-centered design principles to deliver high-quality experiences
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Commercial stakeholders to define and execute UX strategy and priorities
  • Use AI-assisted tools and data-driven experimentation to accelerate ideation, testing, and design validation
  • Establish clear design standards and practices that scale across teams and global markets
  • Facilitate workshops, critiques, and design reviews to drive alignment and excellence
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into cohesive, human-centered design solutions
  • Coach and develop team members through feedback, career growth planning, and hands-on guidance
  • Define growth paths, feedback loops, and hiring priorities to scale team capabilities
  • Contribute to and evolve ResMed’s design system to ensure global consistency, accessibility, and efficiency
  • Lead through others by enabling collaboration and strong cross-functional alignment across CX and Product squads
  • Create a safe environment for design teams to test, learn, and evolve through AI and emerging technology

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in UX design
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or people management role
  • Proven success leading design teams within complex ecosystems such as healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise platforms
  • Expertise in UX tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and emerging AI-enhanced design platforms
  • Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, and user research integration
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with delivery excellence
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills across teams and leadership levels
  • Experience working in agile environments and leading through ambiguity
  • Accountable for measurable outcomes in design quality, team engagement, and business impact

Nice to have:

  • Experience designing for healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries
  • Passion for advancing holistic sleep health through connected digital experiences
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted personalization, behavioral design, or data-driven experimentation frameworks
  • Background in coaching designers in hybrid or distributed team structures across regions
What we offer:
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Sleep care management
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • Commuter benefits
  • 401(k)
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Tuition assistance
  • Three weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) in first year
  • 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days
  • Eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave
