Job Responsibility:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments
Responsible for running test procedures, limited troubleshooting, and documenting systems test results
Responsible for review of test procedures and correct/modify as needed
Responsible for the adequate set-up of equipment and supplies as required by the associated procedures or R&D project
Responsible to follow laboratory procedures for methods associated with control of records, test variables, equipment calibration and documentation practices
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
Responsible to work with engineers, for collection of data and information related to non-formal testing or evaluation practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist in compiling observations, analyzing data and interpreting results
May write experimental reports, summaries and protocols
Perform simple troubleshooting and calibration of instruments
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree preferred, 2+ years' experience in related field
Proficient use of laboratory equipment and tools
Familiarity with GMP/GLP desired
Proficient in recording original data
Basic science and math skills
Ability to use computer for word processing, spreadsheets, document retrieval, e-mail, business calendars
Basic understanding of documentation systems
Knowledge and working application of standard operating procedures
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with a fast pace, changing priorities and deadlines
