Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments
  • Responsible for running test procedures, limited troubleshooting, and documenting systems test results
  • Responsible for review of test procedures and correct/modify as needed
  • Responsible for the adequate set-up of equipment and supplies as required by the associated procedures or R&D project
  • Responsible to follow laboratory procedures for methods associated with control of records, test variables, equipment calibration and documentation practices
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Responsible to work with engineers, for collection of data and information related to non-formal testing or evaluation practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assist in compiling observations, analyzing data and interpreting results
  • May write experimental reports, summaries and protocols
  • Perform simple troubleshooting and calibration of instruments

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree preferred, 2+ years' experience in related field
  • Proficient use of laboratory equipment and tools
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP desired
  • Proficient in recording original data
  • Basic science and math skills
  • Ability to use computer for word processing, spreadsheets, document retrieval, e-mail, business calendars
  • Basic understanding of documentation systems
  • Knowledge and working application of standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with a fast pace, changing priorities and deadlines
