Job Responsibility
support the sales team achieve established sales and profitability targets
develop existing and new customers and applications by solving corrosion and material selection issue
based on customer service condition, analysis corrosion risk and recommended proper material from Alleima
make testing plan at customer side based on existing facilities
deep discussion with customer corrosion engineer of their corrosion problems
develop and continuously maintain a deep understanding of our tube products, the applications and processes in our customer's and the benefits of our tubular segment’s products against competition
actively promote the current range of grades & products, together with the introduction of new products to market
maintain and develop the relationship with key customers
identify next best alternative material in the related application
identify related product development needs
become an active representative and presenter for some important conference related to our tubes to promote Alleima
be the link between China SU′s and marketing, R&D and production at PU
be a resource for Customer Problem Solving technical support before the R&D or global technical support function needs to get involved
be responsible to write technical articles
be the representatives for the registered associations, forums
actively search and develop new applications, establish knowledge, and value arguments
be a source of technical and product expertise, provide support to sales activities, technical seminar, negotiations
contribute to the market intelligence from application and competition, customer segment trend perspective
being part of the new product development team with the PU as local window
other tasks may be assigned by the manager
Requirements
holds a doctor or master's degree in corrosion or material science
deep knowledge on wet corrosion and high temperature corrosion, including corrosion mechanism, corrosion tests, failure mode in different industry applications
minimum 5 years working experience
background in corrosion lab or as a corrosion engineer is must
roles experience with sales/technical support will gives a plus
experience of dealing with stainless steels/nickel alloys/Ti/Zr products or applications will be preferred
person with good self-awareness, able to learn quick with agile approach, a team player with enthusiasm, proactive, and right attitude
must be computer literate
good communication, interpersonal, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
able to communicate in English well, both verbal and writing
good at making presentations to group, run discussions, dialogues
Nice to have
roles experience with sales/technical support
experience of dealing with stainless steels/nickel alloys/Ti/Zr products or applications
