This is a core operational and client-facing role based in Ottawa, focused on the processes of client engagement, quoting, and procurement operations, rather than traditional direct sales. The Inside Sales function works collaboratively with clients and internal Client Representatives to develop accurate, timely, and technically sound quotations. The position requires a balance of administrative discipline, technical literacy, and professional client interaction, with an emphasis on accuracy, execution, and building trust.
Job Responsibility:
Act as a primary point of contact for external clients and internal client representatives throughout the quoting and procurement lifecycle
Professionally engage with clients to clarify requirements and delivery/project timelines
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., technical teams) to ensure alignment between client needs and technical feasibility
Escalate complex technical or solution design issues when they exceed defined capabilities
Develop accurate, compliant, and timely quotes for IT hardware, software, and associated peripherals
Understand and respect defined technical and commercial boundaries, engaging the Technical Team when required
Apply sufficient technical knowledge to streamline the sales cycle and reduce rework
