Job Description:

The ServiceNow team partners with business, IT operations, and engineering groups to deliver enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions. The role requires both hands-on development and architectural leadership, ensuring scalable and future-ready implementations. The individual will be responsible for end-to-end solution design, module implementation, and technical governance across ServiceNow modules like ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, and Integrations. The position involves enabling automation, process optimization, and platform innovation while guiding stakeholders and junior team members.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define scalable platform architectures for ITSM, CSM, CMDB, and ITOM solutions
  • Translate business and ITIL requirements into robust ServiceNow designs
  • Establish coding standards, reusability patterns, and best practices
  • Configure workflows, catalog items, client/server scripts, UI policies, and business rules
  • Build and support complex integrations with enterprise systems
  • Develop automation solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Orchestration
  • Provide technical leadership to developers and consultants
  • Review solutions for scalability, maintainability, and performance optimization
  • Lead technical workshops and design sessions with stakeholders
  • Ensure platform stability during upgrades and releases
  • Implement monitoring, performance tuning, and operational best practices
  • Contribute to governance, compliance, and platform roadmaps

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
  • 10–13 years of IT experience, with hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementation and development
  • Strong expertise in ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, with exposure to HRSD or Security Operations as a plus
  • Deep proficiency in Glide scripting, JavaScript, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
  • Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end integrations (REST/SOAP, API, LDAP, SSO, OAuth)
  • Experience in CMDB and Discovery (data model, reconciliation, service mapping)
  • Experience in ITOM (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping)
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and ability to apply them in ServiceNow solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Service Portal, Workspace, and UI Builder
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Agile/DevOps practices
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
  • ServiceNow certifications - CSA, CIS–ITSM and any other CIS certification strongly preferred
