Job Responsibility

  • Research, analyze, and document technical accounting matters related to complex transactions, acquisitions, asset evaluations, lease arrangements, and evolving accounting guidance
  • Assist with implementation and interpretation of new accounting standards and financial reporting requirements under U.S. GAAP
  • Support preparation and review of technical accounting memos, financial statement disclosures, and accounting position papers
  • Collaborate with external auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders to evaluate accounting conclusions and reporting impacts
  • Participate in projects tied to operational initiatives, business changes, and strategic transactions
  • Assist with month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and analytical reviews
  • Help strengthen internal controls, accounting processes, and reporting efficiencies across the organization
  • Provide analysis and support to leadership regarding financial results, trends, and reporting considerations
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA required
  • 3+ years of combined public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting foundation with knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • exposure to IFRS is a plus
  • Experience researching and documenting accounting conclusions preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a professional, high-performing team environment
