Job Responsibility

Analyze and process tax-related data for the preparation of federal and state income tax returns, franchise tax returns, and unclaimed property
Assist with audits related to all types of taxes initiated by various federal and state jurisdictions
Respond to information and documentation requests from federal, state, and local governmental agencies regarding tax matters
Maintain tax compliance and reporting calendars, ensuring the timely completion of all scheduled items
Assist in various tax-related projects as needed
Prepare tax account reconciliations
Assist with tax provision and reporting (ASC 740)
Mail various compliance forms and payments
Record data in ERP
Keep up-to-date with the latest Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and other related accounting functions
