Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Tax Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Orlando, Florida, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in tax preparation, compliance, and analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing individual and corporate tax returns, as well as sales and use tax processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Manage sales and use tax filings, including research and application of applicable laws
  • Conduct tax preparation activities, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
  • Analyze and interpret tax codes to address complex tax issues effectively
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and resolve any tax-related discrepancies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, ensuring compliance with current regulations
  • Provide strategic recommendations to optimize tax processes and minimize liabilities
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for tax filings and audits
  • Support the implementation of tax-related policies and procedures
  • Deliver high-quality service to clients by addressing their tax inquiries and concerns

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in individual tax return preparation and filing
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate tax return processes and compliance
  • Expertise in managing sales and use tax filings and related regulations
  • Strong understanding of tax preparation procedures and documentation
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex tax codes and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication abilities for collaboration with clients and internal teams
