Our trusted client is seeking an experienced Sr. Tax Accountant Consultant for a long-term engagement. This fully remote role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in tax preparation and compliance across federal, state, and local levels. The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of expertise in handling complex tax matters and contribute to the efficient management of tax filings and clarifications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns with precision and compliance
  • Assist in the preparation and review of extension declarations, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Provide detailed clarifications and resolutions for organizational tax-related inquiries
  • Collaborate on sales and use tax filings, ensuring accurate calculations and timely submissions
  • Manage corporate tax returns, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Work closely with internal teams to address partnership tax matters and provide necessary insights
  • Ensure all tax preparation processes align with the latest guidelines and industry standards
  • Conduct research to stay updated on tax laws and apply changes effectively
  • Support audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in individual, corporate, and sales tax preparation
  • Proficiency in handling complex federal, state, and local tax filings
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance regulations and processes
  • Expertise in preparing extension declarations and managing partnership tax matters
