Bachelor’s degree in computer, electrical, or telecommunications engineering (or equivalent experience) with 5 years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of industry experience in lieu of a degree
Expertise in optical transceivers, including Optical Transport, ROADM, Coherent Optics, and DWDM, along with hands-on experience using test equipment such as OSA, BER Test Sets, VOAs, and Optical Power Meters
Strong Linux proficiency, with experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting open-source server software
Familiarity with network protocols such as SNMP, NetCONF, YANG, and programming languages like Python
Proven problem-solving skills in complex network environments with a track record of optimizing system performance
