Job Description:
The Sr Supply Chain Planning Manager- Network Engineering at T-Mobile is crucial in synchronizing network procurement and deployment plans with prevailing demand and build forecasts, ensuring that inventory levels (including critical spares) across all locations are optimized to meet corporate objectives and network performance targets. This role oversees a significant annual spend within Network Engineering, spearheading requisition processes and securing executive approvals to support ongoing network expansion, modernization, and sustainment programs. By leading weekly cross-functional meetings with Network Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and OEM/supplier partners, the manager proactively addresses exceptions, mitigates supply disruptions, and promotes alignment across multiple network portfolios (e.g., RAN, transport, core, IP). The role is also responsible for developing strategies to resolve supply chain or OEM-related challenges, strengthening supplier performance, and improving key performance metrics for the IPP team. In addition, this position provides end-to-end oversight of both forward and reverse supply chain functions—from forecasting, sourcing, inbound logistics, warehousing, staging/kitting, and field delivery for network builds (forward supply chain), to returns management, RMA coordination, repair/refurbishment, redeployment, recycling/disposition, and asset recovery controls (reverse supply chain)—to reduce downtime risk, minimize write-offs, and maximize asset utilization across the network lifecycle.
