Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Sr. Supply Chain Associate supports warehouse operations, GDP compliance, and pharmaceutical distribution activities in Bulgaria, with prospective future involvement in third-party logistics management across selected European markets.
Job Responsibility:
Support day-to-day operations at the Amgen Bulgaria warehouse
Ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products
Maintain accurate operational documentation and records
Ensure daily operations comply with GDP, SOX, and applicable EU/local regulations
Maintain accurate operational documentation and records to support GDP compliance and inspection readiness
Support regulatory inspections and internal audits
Provide back up support to the Responsible Person (RP) for GDP oversight activities in the absence of the RP, with scope depending on qualifications and regulatory requirements
Support oversight of third-party logistics providers across selected markets
Coordinate with customer service and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries
Participate in supply chain improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
Support implementation of operational best practices
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, or related discipline is required.
2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations (preferably in regulated industries)
Knowledge of GDP/GMP compliance
Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
Fluent English
Nice to have:
Pharmacist degree enabling expanded Responsible Person (RP) responsibilities under GDP
Experience in biopharma supply chains
Experience working with third-party logistics providers
