The Sr Strategy & Planning Manager is a senior, cross-functional leader within the Enterprise Program Office (EPO) who connects enterprise strategy to execution through disciplined planning, decision-ready governance, and consistent delivery practices. This role partners across business, technology, finance, and operational teams to improve how the organization identifies, prioritizes, governs, and delivers the highest-impact enterprise initiatives while driving clarity, reducing friction and rework, and improving measurable outcomes. Depending on business need and candidate strengths, this role may be aligned to one of the EPO pillars (Intake & Investment Planning, Portfolio Governance, Program Management, Enterprise Delivery) and/or to an enterprise domain (Customers, Employees, Platforms, Compliance). Success is measured by improved decision readiness, stronger governance outcomes (clear decisions, tradeoffs, sequencing), improved execution predictability, and sustained value realization through KPI/benefit tracking and continuous improvement loops.
Job Responsibility:
Translate strategy into execution-ready plans and governance by turning ambiguous inputs into structured workstreams, decision packages, and clear next steps for leaders and delivery teams
Design, operate, and continuously improve operating rhythms (cadences, forums, stage gates, templates, “definition of ready,” checklists, decision logs) that increase consistency and reduce rework across the enterprise initiative lifecycle
Develop executive-ready materials (pre-reads, briefs, presentations, summaries) that enable faster, higher-quality decisions, including capturing decisions, conditions, owners, and follow-ups
Drive cross-functional alignment and coordination across business, product, technology, finance, and operations, proactively surface risks, dependencies, sequencing constraints, and decision needs
Enable measurement of outcomes and benefits by partnering with business owners and Finance to define success metrics/KPIs, track progress vs business case, and support structured outcome reviews and variance discussions (e.g., 30/60/90-day post-launch)
Support lifecycle continuity and clean handoffs across intake → governance → delivery → value realization
help ensure change control, stabilization expectations, and exit criteria are understood and adopted
Lead cross-functional special projects tied to enterprise priorities that require dedicated coordination, process design, stakeholder management, and structured execution
