Job Description:

Shape the future of trust in the age of AI. At Oscilar, we're building the most advanced AI Risk Decisioning™ Platform. Banks, fintechs, and digitally native organizations rely on us to manage their fraud, credit, and compliance risk with the power of AI. If you're passionate about solving complex problems and making the internet safer for everyone, this is your place. We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer to join our exceptional team of engineers, data scientists, and security experts. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our core mobile platform for iOS devices. Your work will be critical in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of signal information, helping fintechs manage fraud, credit, and compliance risks effectively. This is not a UI or App development role, this is building SDKs for detecting fraud by analyzing device and behavioral properties. This requires deep understanding of the platform internals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the research, design, prototyping, implementation, and deployment of holistic end-to-end solutions in the iOS domain
  • Develop and maintain highly stable, high-performance, and scalable iOS client SDKs that meet the needs of our global enterprise clients
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — including product management, frontend, and data science — to define technical requirements and ensure seamless integration with other platform components
  • Stay up to date on the latest capabilities of iOS platforms, cloud technologies, and AI/ML frameworks to enhance our mobile solutions
  • Research and implement new innovations in mobile security as the iOS landscape evolves, including the evaluation of popular third-party SDKs and APIs
  • Drive best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall growth of the mobile engineering team

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Swift for iOS development
  • Deep understanding of iOS SDK, Xcode, and the iOS application lifecycle, including background execution, memory management, and performance optimization
  • Experience building SDKs or frameworks consumed by third-party apps, ensuring robust API design and developer experience
  • Experience integrating mobile applications with backend services via RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts, data pipelines, and SQL
  • Knowledge of basic machine learning concepts, such as supervised and unsupervised learning
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Proficiency using Xcode Instruments, Simulator, and debugging tools
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Passion for staying current with the latest iOS development trends and best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of iOS development experience, with a proven track record of deploying stable mobile components at scale (1M+ end users)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with fraud prevention, risk management, or fintech applications
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Contributions to open-source iOS projects or relevant work showcased on GitHub
  • Knowledge of security best practices for mobile applications
What we offer:
  • Competitive salary and equity packages, including a 401k
  • Remote-first culture — work from anywhere
  • 100% Employer covered comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with a top tier plan for you and your dependents (US)
