We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Staff Accountant to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis while supporting various accounting functions. Job Responsibility

  • Facilitate monthly close processes, ensuring timely preparation of internal and external financial reports, including periodic financial statements
  • Assist in year-end closing activities and contribute to the development of related documentation and reports
  • Conduct thorough expense variance analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and fixed asset reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
  • Perform revenue analysis and inter-company reconciliations to ensure proper financial alignment across departments
  • Update and manage physical inventory records to support accurate reporting
  • Generate detailed financial and compliance reports, ensuring all statements align with organizational standards
  • Prepare ad-hoc analytical reports to provide valuable insights to management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting discrepancies and improve processes

Requirements

  • Proficiency in month-end close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger management
  • Strong expertise in account reconciliation, including bank reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Familiarity with fixed asset accounting and inter-company transaction management
  • Demonstrated ability to produce accurate financial statements and compliance reports
  • Competence in conducting detailed revenue analyses and preparing ad-hoc financial reports
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with relevant experience in roles requiring attention to detail
