As a Sr. Specialist in HR Operations GBS, you will act as a subject matter expert, managing ServiceNow queues, auditing transactions, and ensuring SLA commitments are met. You will process complex HR cases, maintain SOPs, and partner with HRBPs and onshore teams to deliver accurate, consistent, and trusted HR services. This role places you at the center of Baxter’s transformation, where your expertise will strengthen processes, elevate compliance, and enhance the employee experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Work as SME for the Pre‑Payroll and HR domain with complete understanding of Workday (Employee Data Management), solving employee queries and complex cases
  • Provide world‑class customer support to employees through phone, chat, email, and ticketing platforms
  • Manage end‑to‑end HR operations including onboarding, employee records, confirmations, internal movements, exits, and offboarding
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of employee data in Workday
  • Own documentation, letters, contracts, amendments, and employment records
  • Act as the primary owner for Workday data integrity, audits, and reporting
  • Support system enhancements, UAT, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Generate periodic HR reports and dashboards for leadership and compliance
  • Partner with Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Guide the team in decision‑making and process improvement initiatives
  • Keep quality parameters and SLAs intact
  • Drive HR process standardization, simplification, and automation
  • Support creation and maintenance of Knowledge Articles, SOPs, and employee handbooks

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
  • Hands‑on Workday experience (transactions, business processes, reporting) is mandatory
  • Strong process and system orientation with proven compliance and audit management
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Initiative‑driven, with a project mindset
  • Analytical mindset with focus on process improvement
  • automation skills are a plus
  • Project management experience
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (Europe & Americas)
  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Lean certification (preferred)
  • 8–10 years of experience in HR Operations or Shared Services
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role supporting North Americas
