Job Description

The Sr Specialist,IT (Architecture and Engineering) is responsible for the configuration, management maintenance and support of the enterprise resource planning (JDE Edwards) system solutions. This includes the testing and documentation of solutions developed by the team, training other teams on the solutions and providing system level support. Requires the ability to work effectively on independent projects, as well as in cooperation with a variety of stakeholders and other technical professionals across the regions.

Job Responsibility

  • Management of multiple ERP instances across the world
  • Document, automate and train teams on new solutions
  • Coordination with Database, functional and technical support teams across the globe
  • Integrate Automation to meet system requirements
  • Develop/Implement system standards to: Lower support costs, Simplify system support efforts, Keep systems up to date with shifting requirements (security, patches etc..)
  • Learn and implement new technology quickly
  • Work with 3rd party applications to interface with JD Edwards
  • Investigate post-implementation problems and initiate solutions
  • Comply with security and governance policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, business analysts, Developers and other stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of ERP software development
  • Take active role in complex project solutions

Requirements

  • Engineering Graduate
  • Linux and Windows operating system expertise
  • Background in Oracle databases
  • AWS Cloud Certification (Preferred not required)
  • E1 Technical Background (experience with): JDE Upgrade/Install, Tools Releases, BSSV, RTE, Weblogic, JAS, JDE Orchestration, UDO's, UBE, BI Publisher, BSFNs (C, NER), ESUs, TCs, DCLINK, Create!form
  • 5 plus years of experience with Enterprise One Installation, Upgrades, system design
  • Experience working on 9.0 or higher releases
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and prioritize internal requests
  • Good team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
  • Must have strong English language skills and be comfortable conversing in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
