Job Description

This role supports business sales by applying technical expertise to design and present wireless communication solutions that address Small and Medium Business customer needs across the Houston, TX metropolitan area. The position involves consulting with customers to understand business challenges and architecting solutions using wireless network technologies, software, security, and hardware.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support business sales efforts and drive wireless solution adoption
  • Engage with customers to analyze wireless network coverage and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of wireless devices and network capabilities
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of wireless technologies, devices, and industry trends through ongoing training
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned by business management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • 7–10 years of experience in telecommunications, IT administration, technology leadership, security, SAAS, or network engineering roles, with a professional track record of exceeding solution sales targets and managing internal and external relationships in a matrix environment
  • Experience supporting Small & Medium Business accounts
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with business application software
  • Ability to create and deliver technical presentations
  • Subject Matter Expertise in at least two areas of focus (e.g., SD-WAN/Edge, SaaS, Security, Fixed 5G/Routers, etc.)
