The Solution Managers are the product managers and owners of Industry Solutions within the Industry Solutions Group (ISG). They are responsible for defining and managing the industry solution roadmap, requirements, features, and functionality. They collaborate with the product teams, industry strategists, advisors, solution engineers, and other business units to design and develop industry solutions and to ensure that the entire organization is aligned to the solutions go-to-market intent. They can be individual contributors or manage a team of Solution Managers depending on the size of the industry.
Job Responsibility:
Clearly demonstrate industry value across the entire portfolio that drives overall user acquisition and depth of usage
Develop and present business case for solutions
Lead the strategy and implementation of growth Solution initiatives
Own the process of collecting growth ideas, shaping them into hypotheses, prioritizing them, facilitating AB tests, and reporting on outcomes across the portfolio and driving proposals for packaging/pricing
Create business cases to drive internal investments, partnerships, and mergers & acquisitions
Evaluate, challenge, and adjust strategic go-to-market plans, including pricing & Solution packaging, to meet evolving business and market requirements
Work with key user and industry groups to identify market opportunities and persistent gaps to be addressed to add value to users
Conduct internal and external research on the market, competitors, and user personas
Partner with internal stakeholders to define and develop sales tools
Position requires an individual to have a strong background and understanding of the focus industry across design, build and operate workflows
Requires up to 20% travel
Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in product management and/or general management, each in a relevant related industry
5+ years of management experience leading teams and delivering results
Professional experience in product marketing is a plus
Deep understanding of engineering, construction, and operation workflows as it relates to the transportation industry infrastructure and its supporting technology landscape
